A Discovery Flight is a one-and-one-half-hour lesson that allows you to get a feel for piloting a plane and to see if you enjoy it. Part of the lesson is on-the-ground instruction, but this is a hands-on flight experience in which the student will be at the controls performing climbs, descents, and turns, and taxiing the airplane. All lessons are in the Cessna 172 aircraft -- the most widely used airplane. Oh yes--there will be a certified flight instructor in the cockpit with you!
