The Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat is an authentic stern-driven paddle wheel riverboat built 28 years ago as a community service project by the Harrisburg Area Riverboat Society for the benefit of and visitors to the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area.
- The Pride is one of only 6 remaining “authentic” paddle wheel riverboats in the United States. This means that the Pride ONLY uses the paddle wheels for both propulsion and steering. There are no propellers, rudders or other forms of propulsion or steering. Truly a gem in our modern world!
Special Instructions
After the online auction closes, this item will be going to a LIVE EVENT for further bidding. The LIVE EVENT is Thursday, April 11. You will be notified by email if you are awarded the winning bid. If shipment of your item is required, shipping and handling charges will apply and be billed to your account. Local pick-up can be arranged, in lieu of shipping. If interested in local pickup at Camp Hebron or a location in Harrisburg please let us know. We will have provisions for absentee bidding. Anyone bidding on line for an item who has entered a maximum bid that is higher than the ending on-line bid, will be placed on an absentee bidding report and a volunteer will bid on the item for you up to your maximum stated amount.
