Description

Dimensions: 11.5" diameter, 2.25" tall

Artist: Mark Donahue

Hand-thrown on the wheel by FOHA volunteer Mark Donahue, this striking platter is well-suited to serving hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, or finger food. It may also be used simply as a display piece and/or to hold decorative items.

The platter’s one-of-a-kind appearance is a product of “bubble glazing,” a technique in which the glaze is blown onto a piece in bubbles through a straw before being fired. It is food-safe and may be used in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven.
