Description
Your winning bid will help sponsor little Lily and her future babies for up to 3 months. Here is her story: Meet new feline resident Little Lilly. It took Carmen 5 days to finally earn her trust enough that she would go into a kennel for her food. She was ravenously hungry and could devour a whole can of wet food and head for the dry food we have out for the raccoons. She would sit on the sidewalk and meow and meow for help but was timid and afraid. No more. As soon as she realized she was in a safe cat carrier and now in a safe kennel in my office, she showed much gratitude in her kneading and purring and more eating. She guards her food bowl religiously but is very relaxed and happy. And did I mention she is just a kitten herself but is full blown with kittens and will pop them at any time soon. She is not healthy enough to spay so we are going to see how it goes and tend to her maternal needs as she gains in strength with high quality food.. This morning at 7am Wanda got me up and said she is out among the raccoons trying to eat with them. The little raccoons paid her no mind at all but Wanda was worried they might try to fight her for the food that was out. One little raccoon did not want to leave when I went out and was quite willing to go into the carrier for food but I shooed him back to his dry food. And Little Lilly went right into the carrier as she LOVES wet food. Did I mention she LOVES WET FOOD!! To the people who dumped her here, pregnant and not used to being outside...... I have no kind words. To little Lily, we have only love to give her and a life of love and care for now til we see how her pregnancy goes. She was rescued Saturday, July 28, 2018. Your winning bid will go towards three months of her care.
