Description

Looking to start your own home vegetable garden? Let farmer and author Acadia Tucker help you design and grow the garden of your dreams.

Her long love affair with perennial foods has produced this easy-to-understand guide to growing and harvesting them. A regenerative farmer who is deeply concerned about global warming, Tucker believes there may be no better time to plant these hardy crops.

This package includes her laying the groundwork for tending an organic, regenerative garden during a two-hour consultation.  It also includes sketches for your future reference and a copy of Tucker’s newest book, Growing Perennial Foods.

There is nothing quite like eating food you’ve grown yourself.  Get a good start, and bid high for this veritable garden of good ideas.

Acadia Tucker is a farmer and writer. Her interest in growing food has led her to start a four season organic market garden in Washington, map endemic plant species in the Channel Islands, and complete plant surveys in the Peruvian rainforest. She completed a Masters in Land and Water Systems at the University of British Columbia and graduated from Pitzer College with a degree in Environmental Science. Acadia lives in New Hampshire and, when not writing, grows hops to support locally sourced craft beer in New England.
