John Swett Elementary just adopted the Choose Love curriculum and that is the theme of Mrs. Trapani's 4th grade auction project. We are spread a little joy and love. The project has a few different things in it: a great reclaimed wood coffee table book simply titled Joy. It will have pictures from each student showing what brings them JOY. Having a bad day, pick this up and flip through it to spark your joy. The second part of the project is Reclaimed Wood LOVE signs with the "O" being different holiday themes with fingerprints from the students. You will have Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patty's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween/Thanksgiving, and our JSE Roadrunner. Next: a great Martinez sign decorated with fingerprinted flowers all in a crate. Look for a few more additions and a gift certificate to J & E Designs (based out of Martinez) as well.
