About the owner:
My name is Carrie Ann Ventre and I own and manage Academy Kennels. I grew up in Cincinnati and have been around animals for as long as I can remember. My own personal babies are a Yellow Lab named "Rudger", and a Pug named “Remington” both who I have raised from pups. I have spent nearly my entire professional life working with and around animals, both wild and domestic. I have over 20 years experience in feeding, cleaning, training, and caring for animals. I have 15 years of actual Boarding Kennel experience, the last 10 years of which has been as the owner and operator of my own business. I remember being told as a little girl, you should "Do what you love or love what you do." I am blessed that I am doing both. Caring for and pampering furry little companions has become a way of life for me and I would love the opportunity to share that with you and the furry members of your family.
