It’s been nearly a year since the Atlas Peak fire descended upon Hagafen Cellars and destroyed its tasting room. But, the nearly 40-year-old winery was not hindered by the destruction. All of its wine was protected, and all its grapes had already been harvested. The winery is moving forward with new construction and new wine releases. And what they do is make stunning, small-batch wine that pays homage to age-old customs and lineage.

Owner and winemaker Ernie Weir’s daily involvement in both grape growing and winemaking, ensures the superb quality of the wines.

During your tour and tasting at the Winery, you’ll taste Hagafen’s Current Release or Reserve Prix wines. You’ll leave with a case of Hagafen Cellars 2015 Don Ernesto’s Clarinet Tempranillo. From the Lodi appellation, the wine greets you with aromas of black cherry, lavender and rose hips quickly balanced with a touch of cardamom and spice.

Case of wine can be shipped at bearer’s expense. Tours are held in the morning only, Sunday through Friday. Holidays excluded.  Valid until September 30, 2019.
