Signed Magnum 2016 Zinfandel, Ponzo Vineyard, Russian River Valley: A sophisticated and layered Zinfandel with a very fruit-forward introduction. Juicy blackberry notes greet you on the bouquet, mingling with aromas of toasty oak and dark cocoa. Full bodied on the palate, this Zin unfolds its signature wild strawberry notes along with flavors of black cherry cola. 91 points from Wine Spectator.
Three 750ml 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, Dry Creek Valley: In the glass, the wine shows bright aromas of cassis and blueberries backed by vanilla notes. In the mouth, the wine is soft and supple with blackberry and cherry fruit.
Three 750ml 2015 Chardonnay, Hopkins River Ranch Vineyard, Russian River Valley: Less than 350 cases produced. This wine immediately offers flavors of honeysuckle and green apple. Gentle treatment in the cellar, and aging in French oak barrels showcases the wine’s minerality with a hint of nutmeg and spice in the finish. This elegant wine will offer many years of drinking.
