As the birthplace of Napa Valley’s commercial wine industry, Appellation St. Helena buzzes with innovation, collaboration, and distinction. A gathering place for world-class talent of all kinds, some of the most historic, recognizable, and collectible wineries and vineyards can be found there.
Your mixed half-case of St. Helena wines include:
2013Engel Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Rock Mountain Vineyard: Super small production – not easy to find.
2014 Corley Yewell Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon: Rich aromas of ripe, red berry fruit with undertones of sweet blond oak, light caramel, and mocha. On the palate, the wine is lush with a deep core of ripe fruit on the mid palate. It is wonderfully balanced through to the finish, with richness in depth of body and also in character of tannins.
2014 Flora Springs St. Helena Rennie Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon: A big, concentrated wine with forward flavors of black cherry, blueberry, and crème de cassis that coat the mouth in luscious blue/black fruit. Hints of earth, cedar smoke and toasty oak emerge in this layered and complex Cabernet. This wine will reward aging for the next 20 years.
2015 Edge Hill The Celebrated Vineyards, St. Helena Estate, Mixed Blacks Field Blend Napa Valley Red Wine: Delivers serious intensity, with all of the complexity than these historic field blend vineyards deliver. The wine's sheer opulence stands out above all else. A closing blast of plum, black cherry, French oak smoke and licorice leaves a lasting impression.
2015 MC4 Cabernet Sauvignon Martin & Croshaw Vineyard, St. Helena: This is a small-production wine from the producer's one-acre organically farmed Martin & Croshaw Vineyard. This impressive wine is thick and dense, it finds its way to a balanced approach, reveling in red currant, tobacco and wood tannin dipped in clove.
2015 Titus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: Bright and clean aromas, reminding the senses of cherry, berry skin, milk chocolate, all spice and potpourri. Rich and balanced on the palate, with flavors of chocolate covered berry, plum sauce, coffee, molasses and fig compote. The tannins are balanced and refined, giving the wine an excellent density. Enjoy through 2027.
