Vintage Corte Hand Woven Leather Tote and Poncho.
This beautiful tote bag is constructed from vintage handmade cortes (the traditional skirts worn in Guatemala). It features leather straps and an intricately woven design also made from leather. The tote zips at the top and features a contrasting vintage black corte lining. There is an additional zippered pocket inside. Paired with a pompom also made by Mayans in Chiapas, Mexico. 14" H x 17" W x 3.5" D. Handle 10".

These organic bamboo ponchos are from a co-op in Guatemala and are eco-friendly, naturally dyed and hand loomed with sustainable bamboo fibers. Production is done in both their workshop and at home, allowing the women artisans to be with their families. Ponchos range from 28" - 32" long and are one-size-fits-all.
