A variable edition print inspired by the artist’s own cats reacting to the full moon. The hand cut stencils were pulled through a press and then pochoir – off the press stenciling - added for the moon face. Gold powder was applied to the print as a final touch. A stencil print with pochoir and gold powder on Rives paper.

About The Artist

Awarded Wyoming artist, Dr. Florence Alfano McEwin, works in both paint and print mediums. Her work is shown nationally and internationally. International shows include those in Japan, Canada, Italy, Germany, England, Scotland, the Netherlands and currently in France. She has received numerous awards including the George and Helen Segal Foundation Award in Painting. One of her paintings is included in the Fall 2018 shows, “Painting in the 21st Century” Site: Brooklyn. McEwin is Professor of Art at Western Wyoming College.
