A once in a lifetime opportunity.  Learn about the functions of law enforcement by riding with a police officer for a four hour shift.

• Rider must be at least 18 years of age


• Signed ride along request required two weeks prior to the ride-along


• Person will wear a bullet proof vest supplied by the police department


• Person may not film or record in any way while participating in the program unless given permission by the Chief of Police


• Criminal background check is required.  Persons with extensive criminal backgrounds will not be allowed to ride with an officer.


• Once on the drive-along, participants cannot leave the patrol vehicle without permission of the police officer.

A valid ID which lists full name, address and date of birth will be required on the day of the ride-along.
