Vintage Pleasant Company American Girl Doll "Kirsten"

Kirsten Larson is a pioneer girl of strength and spirit growing up in Minnesota in 1854. After a long, dangerous voyage with her family from Sweden to America, Kirsten finds it difficult to get used to a new country and a new way of life. But as she makes friends and discovers what her new land has to offer, she learns the true meaning of home - and that love is the same in any language.

Kirsten comes dressed in the original "Meet Kirsten" outfit and accessories along with the book Meet Kirsten: An American Girl. Outfits include her work dress, nightgown, house coat, winter outfit and her St Lucia gown with candle wreath. Kirsten’s bed, night stand, bedding and quilt are also included along with hangers and pamphlets to go with the outfits. The doll and her clothing are in excellent condition, although the elastic in the bonnet and drawers has lost its stretch.
