Sherie Dowsett is a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association and has received numerous awards from the Nature Conservancy, to which she donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of her photos.

Of her work she says "When I create and share an image, it is with the hope that others will experience a connection of their own with the subject and the natural world in general."
