The Harvard-Yale Rivalry

It was the first rivalry in all of college athletics. Today, 163 years later, Harvard-Yale still stands as one of the best series in the world of sports. With its 133rd playing this year, the Harvard-Yale rivalry is the third-most played series in college football. In every formal season since 1898, Harvard’s final opponent has been Yale. There is only one exception, as the 1919 campaign was completed with a 7-6 Rose Bowl victory over Oregon. Harvard got there with a 10-3 decision over the Elis.

Where can I park?
Fans should treat the Harvard-Yale game at Fenway Park as if it were a Red Sox game. Please plan to utilize public transportation if possible, or park at any of the local area lots/garages. Click here for a map of parking garages in the Fenway area. No parking will be available within the Harvard Athletic Complex on game day.

Are there things to do around Fenway Park before The Game?
In addition to the many restaurants and bars in the Fenway area, Harvard will be hosting a FanZone near the Park. The FanZone will be open to the public, and admittance will be free of charge. Attendees will be able to purchase food and beverages from a variety of options. In addition, there will be live entertainment throughout the pregame activities. The Fanzone will open at 9:00am and close shortly after kickoff. When more information regarding the FanZone is confirmed, we will update it here.

What will the concession offerings be like at The Game?
A variety of concessions will be available both inside and outside the venue. This selection includes alcoholic beverages.
