The bright green skein is 100% New Zealand wool, spun when donor lived there for three months (dyed later). 2 ply, 2.25 oz, 75 yards estimate

Pink purple skein is New Zealand grown and spun, a blend of white and colored (Gotland/East Frisian) fleeces, dyed later. 2 ply, 4.9 oz and 145 yards

A statement from donor, Lili Christensen:

I discovered North House Folk School a few years ago, on line. I received catalogs by mail, reading them deeply, wishing I could come. I saved my money, and this summer I made it a priority to attend the basket week. Being there, I wanted to contribute somehow. Hearing about the auction, I offered to send skeins of my handspun yarn, once I returned home, to Colorado.
