A Developmental/Academic Screening is required prior to individual sessions. The purpose of the screening is to assess possible underlying, neuro-developmental weaknesses that may be contributing to the child's difficulties. Through Parent Report, review of outside educational/therapeutic testing, and clinical observation during the screening session, the following areas are assessed:

Emotional Self-regulation
Visual Tracking and Visual Motor Integration Skills
Eye Hand Coordination
Auditory Processing and Working Memory
Dominance Profile
Attention and Executive Functioning Skills
Automatic Recall
Age Level Academic Skill Sets

Included in this 90 minute screening appointment is a parent consult. This consult is a time to review and explain observations made, and make recommendations.
