The home is within walking distance of some great local restaurants including Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant at the entrance to Seacliff State Beach.  Lots of other shops from small unique specialty shops to familiar stores like Safeway, Rite Aid, Ace Hardware, are all within a short distance.

Capitola (next door) with its famous food and shopping is just a few minutes from the house.  Santa Cruz with its world famous Beach Boardwalk and Wharf is also a short drive.  During your trip, you can also easily visit the Monterey Peninsula with such attractions as The Monterey Bay Aquarium, 17-Mile Drive, Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf (and be there in less than 30 minutes).
