"Evening's Early Blush" is an interpretation of the light witnessed before the sun sets.  Though inspired by observation, Ms. Beecher creates her oils through memory and artistic license. The meadow and tree ridge is merely a backdrop to the sky. The viewer is led through the foreground towards the fading sun as it begins its descend, giving the sky the pinkish hue that is both brilliant and brief.

Christina Beecher holds a BFA in Industrial design from the Cleveland Institute of Art.  Christina works primarily in oils, and enjoys teaching art to students in her home studio.  She is also an active member and trustee at the AAM. She is currently represented by Galatea Fine Arts, Boston, MA, True Grit Gallery in Middleboro MA, The Next Door Gallery in Mansfield, MA and at the Preservation Framer in North Attleboro, MA.
