"Cherry Crop" is a colorful painting created many years ago as a study in focusing on a small area of a much broader scene. There is usually a certain amount of concentrated detail in Mr. Elliott's drawings and paintings and this piece is a playful example of that. The natural surroundings of the New England countryside are often an inspiration for his work.

Tim Elliott studied drawing, painting, and design at RISD and Syracuse University -- where he majored in Industrial Design. Although he is a product design engineer by trade, Tim has created numerous commissioned portraits of people and pets that are hanging in homes up and down the east coast. His work has recently been exhibited in the 2017 National Juried Show "Line" at the AAM.
