Description

Acrylic collage

13.75" x 13" x 1"

Creating in collage is Rosemarie's favorite art process.  She paints her own papers; rice paper, Yupo, and Arches, etc. When constructing her abstracts, she never knows how the image will develop: it's always a delightful outcome. Naming the piece is always an interesting process for the artist.

Rosemarie Manson has been studying water media painting with C.C. Woolf at the EastSide Art Center in Providence, since retiring from a career in education.  She is a member of the RI Watercolor Society, the AAM, and the East Greenwich Art Club. Her recent awards include Juror's Choice, Member Exhibit at the AAM 2016, Third Place, Arnold Mills Community House Art Exhibition 2017, Second Place, Arnold Mills Community House Art Exhibition 2018.
