Mariani was interested in juxtaposing the strict triangular shapes of roofs with the more relaxed, graceful shapes of the mountains. He added another layer of "softness" using candle wax on the cloud formations.
Rob Mariani is an artist from Bristol, RI. After a career in advertising in Providence, he is now retired and focused on making art. He paints with acrylics on various surfaces.

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6-10, 2018. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
