"Lingering Light," inspired by the cottages of Provincetown, MA, this pastel is a study in color and value. Pushing the envelope with colors was a deliberate choice. The simplicity of shapes, large and small, tell the story of late day light illuminating the cottages.
Karole Nicholson attended RISD studying advertising design. Pastel, collage and mixed media are her mediums of choice. Her award-winning work has appeared in many national juried exhibitions. She is a member of the Pastel Society of America, Pastel Painters of Cape Cod and the Providence Art Club. Exhibitions include the Vose Gallery, Attleboro Arts Museum, Next Door Gallery, True Grit Gallery and Illuminations Gallery.

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6-10, 2018. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
