In "Autumn Pond," one season slowly gives way to another; the rich palette of warm and cool hues, the musty smell of decaying leaves, and the gentle bite of a chilling breeze.
Lindsay Nygaard enjoys spending time outdoors, alone in nature. Visits to local nature sanctuaries and National Parks serve as a means of inspiration for many of her works. She reflects on her experiences and observations by investigating, writing, sketching, photographing, and then by realizing her finalized ideas as works on canvas.

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6-10, 2018. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
