This is one of Corrigan's later pieces painted in 1997. The people she has painted heading into the museum reflect Corrigan's sense of fun and whimsy. As most of her work this piece is painted with gouache.


Barbara Corrigan was a life-long Attleboro resident and graduate of Mass College of Art & Design in 1944. She was a regular illustrator of the Highlights' magazine covers. Corrigan is best known in Attleboro for her notecards printed with images of her 400+ paintings. Her work has been exhibited at the Boston Athenaeum and the Ainsworth Gallery, among others. Her work is held in private & corporate collections world-wide.

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6-10, 2018. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
