The scene is a beautiful inlet behind a spit of beach, teaming with wildlife along the Rhode Island shore. Quiet and peaceful, it lies behind a perfect beach teaming with summer visitors and residents. Rough, beautiful rocks are strewn along the shore as if protecting the wetlands and wildlife from the encroaching development and the onslaught of summer beach enthusiast.
Michael Evans is an award-winning artist who got back into painting after a long career in the financial services industry. His love of the arts was invigorated by taking classes at the AAM. He is currently on the Board of Trustees of the AAM and the Auction Chairman. He is also on the Board and Treasurer of the Pastel Painter's Society of Cape Cod. Michael maintains a studio in Pawtucket and teaches a variety of art classes at Hunakai Studio, School of Fine Arts in Foxboro, MA. Back Eddy I is a pastel of a scene near the beach in Westerly, Rhode Island.

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6-10, 2018. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
