Description

Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom, has brilliant orange skin which signifies the radiance of the piercing sun-like light of wisdom and intelligence that overcomes all delusions and wrong conceptions. He holds a copy of the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra texts as his sword of wisdom cuts through the ignorance that keeps us bound to our conditioned existence.

Manjushri's blessings help us develop understanding, communication skills, and improved memory, amongst other things. Images of Manjushri are commonly found in libraries and study rooms in monasteries. Keeping his image will be very beneficial for students, for those in education and communication industries, and for anyone who wishes to receive Manjushri's blessings, gaining the wisdom to free ourselves from our delusions and negative habituations.
