Susan’s Garden & Coffee Shop is a great little spot on the corner of NW 29th and Grant, where you can stop by and visit with people and relax, whether you’re looking for the best loved plants in Corvallis or a cup of espresso that you’ll never forget.

Susan’s Garden & Coffee Shop is owned by, well, Susan. Susan Yaukey specifically, whose parents started the store in 1959 back when we were on the very edge of town. Opened in 2014, and it has become such an important part of Schmidt's Garden Center's identity that in 2017 they actually renamed the store to make it a (nearly) equal partner with the gardening part of the business.

Their coffee roaster is Longbottom Coffee and Tea, based in Hillboro. Longbottom sells exclusively to top quality coffee shops, and once you try their coffee you’ll know why. Their coffee is smooth and non-bitter, even in the darkest roasts.
