The 3-hour, in-depth Behind the Scenes Tour is "the tour" for Frank Lloyd Wright enthusiasts. A highlight of the tour is mid-morning tea and snacks in the colorful Taliesin West Dining Room. You will visit all the spots on the Insights Tour, plus an exclusive viewing of a unique desert site. (This tour is not intended for children under the age of 13.)

The guided Desert Walk though the Sonoran Desert surrounding Taliesin West includes a discussion of Wright's impressions of the desert and the architectural challenges it presented. You'll leam about the native building materials found on the site.  The 90-minute Insights Tour showcases Wright's living quarters wing, the Cabaret, Kiva, and Wright's private office. The dynamic Taliesin West Living Room is also included in this tour. The buildings are linked by dramatic terraces, gardens, and walkways overlooking the rugged Sonoran Desert and Valley below.
