What could be more fun than a night filled with laughter?? McCurdy's Comedy Theatre and Humor Institute was founded in Sarasota/Bradenton by Pam & Les McCurdy in 1988.  Since the Theatre's inception, the stage has hosted many of the greatest comedians of our time with names like Mason, Rock, Foxworthy, White, Tenuta, Boosler, Madigan, CK, Miller, Sinbad, Wayans, Hammond, Breuer, Chong, Sales, Nealon, Schumer, Hughley, Dunham and Poundstone.

The Comedy Theatre's new facility is a 7100 square foot purple building located in the heart of Historic Downtown Sarasota's East End at the intersection of Ringling Boulevard and Washington Avenue. The theatre was completely remodeled to create a world-class showroom devoted to the art of Stand-up Comedy.
