Description
Fun cooking lessons for your teen or tween and a friend. A review of basic knife, prep and safety skills. Introduction and overview of proteins, starches, and fats - with tasting. Basics for soups, seasonings, and sauces will also be covered. Review of cooking methods including roasting, braising, sous vide, grilling and sauteeing. Opportunity to cook two meals with sides. Aprons and all food included. Menus can be agreed upon in advance or suggested.
Two 1/2 day lessons.
Proceedings will benefit PV Orchestra.
