Shakespeare In The Park is one of NYC’s most time-honored traditions; a magical theatrical production and extremely sought-after experience. Every summer at the Delacorte open-air Theater in Central Park, The Public Theatre presents two live performance productions written by none other than William Shakespeare. Performance run from the end of May through mid August.
Tickets are free, but getting one is no easy feat. People line up early and wait for hours in the hope of getting a ticket. You can be one of the privledged few. Reserve 2 tickets in advance. No hours on line & you'll be able to invite a special friend knowing you have two tickets in hand!
The Delacorte Theater is in Central Park. The closed entrances are at 81st Street and Central Park West, and 79th Street and 5th Ave.
