An introduction to the exciting sport of scuba diving for two people. In the safe environs of the Manhattan Plaza Health Club pool.

Want to try scuba, but not sure if you want to commit to getting certified? At Pan Aqua, we offer this experience in the safety and comfort of one of the nicer pools in Manhattan at our West 43rd Street location. Though it is NOT a certification course, it is a great way of determining if scuba is for you!

As part of the immersion experience, you will receive a handbook to guide you through your experience. Your PADI dive professional will then provide instruction and guidance about key elements of diving and safety. Though much of the material is serious, it is a fun session. Students are encouraged to ask questions and enjoy the experience.

Then its confined water training. This is where you get your first chance to make like a fish and breathe underwater! Your PADI professional will teach you a handful of the essential skills for diving and allow you to swim around in the pool under their direct supervision. Once you’ve finished the experience, the next step is to enroll in the next Open Water Diver course and become certified!
