Activities that reduce isolation and foster social relationships are essential to help seniors maintain their health and wellbeing.

More than a quarter of the Calistoga population is 65 and over, and as many as 18% of the city’s households are seniors who live by themselves. Over 60% of the residents in Calistoga’s three senior mobile home parks live on a low or very low income.

UVFC’s monthly Lunch & Learn events provide local seniors with an opportunity to connect with others, all while enjoying a delicious free lunch and an engaging, informative workshop about topics relevant to seniors’ lives.
