The 2009 Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard bursts onto the palate with an exciting tapestry of black cherries, plums, black fruit, camphor, smoke and grilled herbs. It is a tremendously powerful, structured wine endowed with tons of richness. It is a stunner! The 2009 Pedregal is 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot that spent 24 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
From a picture-perfect site in Oakville, the 2009 Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard is a huge, intense wine that also possesses wonderful nuance and delineation. Wine critic Antonio Galloni said that “…There is a lot to like in the 2009 Pedregal, and the wine will be fully expressive around age ten….”
