Harvest Party with Paella!

Harvest ... the culmination of a long winter dormancy, beautiful spring bud break and a summer with often-searing heat and no rain … At the end of summer, after months of careful nurturing and observation, the Napa Valley comes alive with the excitement and rush of harvest.  Winemakers all over the valley finally give the word, “it’s time.”  Time to pick the grapes at the peak of ripeness and begin the fruit's journey into a fantastic bottle of wine.

After an exhausting few weeks, it’s time to kick back and be nourished, and the feast of Paella will do just that.  Paella, the traditional Valencian dish that is as beautiful as it is delicious, has been a favorite at celebrations for centuries. This dish will be the real deal, prepared for you by Gerard’s Paella.  With his giant paella pan, buckets of ocean fresh seafood and farm fresh vegetables, Gerard travels to you with all the ingredients to create a culinary event.  Add in heaping portions of Gerard’s personal charm and energy and you have both a visual feast and truly memorable food experience.

Chef Gerard Nebesky was introduced to the joys of classic Spanish Paella many years ago while skiing in Spain.  Now he’s a nationally recognized master whose achievements include beating Chef Bobby Flay in Food Network’s Paella Throwdown.
