Description

The high bidder wins a two night, three day stay in a cozy cabin in Pioneer, California. This well-maintained cabin is a comfortable, peaceful getaway home for its busy Bay Area owners.

The cabin has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs and an office and bathroom downstairs. It's perfect for four people.

Come enjoy the beautiful scenery -- the centuries old tall pine trees, oak trees, and lakes.  Depending on the time of year, activities in the area include skiing at Kirkwood, boating, and fishing. Shopping in the Gold Rush towns of Jackson and Sutter Creek and wine tasting in nearby Shenandoah Valley are popular year round pastimes.

(FYI -- Pioneer Station, built around 1925, is located in Pioneer. Contrary to common lore, it was never a Pony Express stop, but was a general store. The old Pioneer Station still stands and is a private residence today.)

This getaway includes a free wine tasting for four at the Turley Winery in Plymouth.
