1902 & 1903 Indian Head Pennies with Commemorative Native American Stamps

Item Number: 116
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
First minted before the Civil War, the Indian Head Penny was one of the longest-running unchanged designs in U.S. coinage. Then, in 1909, its spectacular 50-year reign suddenly ended. Today, most Americans have never even seen this bold and beautiful testament to the First Americans, which is coveted by collectors and revered by historians
It is complemented by a mint-condition postage stamp with each two-coin set, no longer available in any U.S. post office and celebrating Native American themes.
