Synergy is a special place with special traditions. One of our most treasured traditions are our outdoor education trips such as Farm School, which foster a lasting connection to nature and develops students’ sense of self, confidence, creativity, decision-making, and problem-solving.

After years of loving use, much of the camping equipment we use for these trips is worn out. Money raised tonight will help retire and replace this equipment, and get new tents, stoves, and other necessary gear for current students to enjoy, and so that future kids of Synergy can know the same joy and positive experiences in nature that have become such a valued part of an education in this special school.

This year’s Fund-a-Need supports our Outdoor Education Program at Synergy—from field trips to overnight trips. Outdoor Education and Class Trips program provides opportunities for students to learn and grow beyond the classroom and is integral to our students educations experience. Help us raise $40,000 for new camping gear for Farm School and camping trips as well as funding field trips in k-8 from Mission Science Workshop to 4/5 trip to Sacramento.
