Check out the original Buffalo Exchange, nestled in the heart of Central Tucson since 1974! Located in Wildcat country on the northeast corner of the University of Arizona campus, this store carries the latest trends mixed with some Tucson flair.

In 1974 Kerstin and Spencer Block opened the first Buffalo Exchange in Tucson, Arizona. Kerstin, hailing from Sweden, thought the word “Buffalo” sounded very American, and since they were introducing the idea of a fashionable clothing “Exchange,” the name was born.

In the forty years since, that 450 square foot store near the University of Arizona has blossomed into 48 stores in 17 states. Buffalo Exchange continues to be run by Kerstin and her daughter Rebecca, and is still headquartered in Tucson.
