The Angels and the Horses

Brazilian artist Carlos Araujo's work has been exhibited in the Brazilian Sculpture Museum and The Papal Basilica of St. Paul in Rome. Araujo's "Biblia", a narrative of the Bible in 1000 images, is included with this extraordinary piece of art. 

While there are many paintings of stories from the Bible in the world of fine art, Araujo’s artwork communicates the presence of the spirit in Biblical narratives.

The Angels and the Horses is based on Revelations 5:2-3 "And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it."
