Join Red Cedar mom and lapsed professional baker Jesse Natha for an afternoon class in making laminated pastry (croissants, pain au chocolat, and puffed tarts) from scratch in your own home without fancy equipment. 


Perfect for anyone with basic home baking experience, you will learn how to make the pastry, prepare the butter, turn the pastry, and finally cut and shape the final treats then bake them off when they've risen. We will have batches pre-prepped for each step so we can zoom right through the down time.


You'll leave the class with a batch of unbaked croissants to stow in your freezer, plus a batch of freshly baked pastries to enjoy right away!


We will be working in the Red Cedar kitchen, where there is space for up to four attendees. Great for older kids who can bake a batch of cookies on their own.
