Artist Information

Mike Shaefer currently resides in Midtown. He works as a Clinical Pharmacist for Kaiser Permanente. However, photography and travel are his true passions. In 2014, Mike won well deserved national recognition as 2013’s First Place Winner in Digital Photography Magazine’s Annual Your Best Shot Contest. Mike was also recognized in 2014 by the national Photographic Society of America (PSA) with a Blue Ribbon for one of his images in the Projected Image division. Mike is currently President of the Atlanta Photographic Society and was the 2013 and 2014 APS Photographer of the Year.
