The Creative Stage offers a variety of uniquely creative performing arts programs sure to ignite your child's imagination. Enjoy 50% off a Film Makers Workshop CAMP this summer! 

In Film Makers Workshop, kids will be introduced to all stages of the film making process from story-boarding, to filming, directing, producing, acting and editing, as they work together to create and film their own original short film! Lead by a team of industry professionals such as Rafael Hernandez and Kathryn Metzger, students will gain the insider tips and tools they need, to unleash their creative vision.

Students will meet at Spring Bank, Harlem Branch (just off the C train at 110th St.) as a jumping off point to explore shooting locations outside in Central Park, Morningside Park, and the Electric Ladybug Community Garden.

At the end of the week, students will have the opportunity to see their short film displayed on the “big screen” at movie night at the Electric Ladybug Garden! 

For kids from grades 2-5 
Spring Bank, Harlem Branch (2049 Frederick Douglas Blvd) 
Class runs from 9AM-3PM 
The culminating short film will be screened for friends and family at the end of the term 
Kids spend time outside shooting "on location" in Central and Morningside Parks and at the Electric Ladybug Garden
