One 1 hour in-person/virtual ideation session for 2020 graduates, ie. seniors applying Fall 2019 with Elizabeth England.

Using the Common Application (CA) Essay Prompts as springboards, your student/child and Elizabeth will work together to find a topic that satisfies a prompt, engages the reader and feels honest in tone and point-of-view. Her background in PR, marketing and branding as well as years spent as a fiction and creative non-fiction writing teacher come into play when she looks at a student's dossier. The college essay shouldn't be a reiteration of what's already obvious from test scores, grades, teacher recommendations, outside interests, summer experiences, sports achievements, etc. Rather, a good essay adds dimension, character and personality to a student’s application. In this hour, she will help your student/child begin the college essay writing process.
