Meet the Grunion "Fish-tival! From March through June, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium presents special evening programs to introduce you to the uniqu and elusive grunion.
The Aquarium opens at 8pm. Guests must arrive before 9pm to participate in the full program in the auditorium, followed by a guided observation. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight to spot grunion at the beach.
Open Season: In March, June and July, grunion may be collected by people with a valid 2019 California Fishing License, and by hand only. No license is required for those under the age of 16.

To see a grunion in person, find a convenient date on the enclosed grunion schedule. If you miss this year's grunion season, please call our Aquarium at 310-548-7562 in January of the following year to request a new schedule. You may also log onto CMA's website at www.cabrillomarineaquarium.org. This letter of admittance has no expiration date. Reservations are not required; present this letter at the door in lieu of payment to receive a family 4 pack $20.00 value.
