 This half-day workshop will immerse new students in a daily three-hour experience specially designed to prepare them for starting the new school year off right at Chaminade’s Chatsworth campus.  Each student will attend two classes daily to expose them to the skills and knowledge expected of entering Chaminade students.  The classes will include “Introduction to Chaminade”, a class designed to familiarize students with Chaminade culture, meet program directors, ask pertinent questions and meet their classmates, and “Study Skills”, in which students will learn important skills for organization, time management, note-taking and test preparation. Students will utilize tablet computers daily in each class to practice keyboarding and learn the basic functions of the laptops in a classroom setting.
