Mornings, 8:30 – 11:30

The entire Chaminade campus will become our backlot in this introduction to making movies! A variety of essential filmmaking techniques will be covered in this one week course, including screenwriting, cinematography, shooting for coverage, lighting, directing, acting, editing, and more as the students in the workshop collaborate to create short films together using Canon DSLR cameras and Adobe editing software in Chaminade’s own film studio. This introductory course is ideal for students who want to make films but have never had a class in filmmaking before.
