Handwriting Clinics for Young Children (grades K-1) 

Two 30-minute handwriting clinics donated by Mara Ast--reading, writing, and handwriting tutor.

Two introductory sessions in handwriting help addressing letter reversals, tall and short letters, and shaping letters.  I teach children specific strategies to fix these issues in a fun and non-threatening way.   No boring worksheets.  No mindless tracing.  Just colored pencils, lined paper, discussion, and practice.  Most suitable for children grades K-1.

5 Tutoring Sessions (45min) for Grades K-5 - Valid for new clients only

WhizKidz tutors come from a variety of educational backgrounds.  Most are current teachers in New York and all have a Masters Degree to teach children. The tutors stress understanding concepts rather than memorizing facts and always focus on building confidence in their students to provide the highest level of success.  Clients will receive detailed backgrounds about their tutors at time of placement.
